Experience
I tutored in Latin, SAT writing skills, English composition, and ESL conversation and writing since retirement in 2011. While serving with the U.S. Department of State in various embassies, I tutored local and U.S. staff in report and cable writing, and election monitoring and reporting. I have taught U.S. diplomatic history and church history in Romania, and the history of the English language in Moldova. I enjoy tutoring as an opportunity to keep two minds sharp--mine and the student's.
